Welcome to the Madness!

Well, the new year is here (and has been for a while now). 

I've resigned from my job, had a few weeks break to get everything in order and now I have started Uni full time - studying a Bachelor of Games Design at Griffith Uni here in Brisbane.

To say it's been a culture shock would be an understatement.  I knew I was going to be older than everyone else doing the course, but you don't realise just how big a gap that can be until you are sitting around talking.  Seriously, I have to revise and re-work all my material cause most of it goes over their heads.  lol.  

Still, I have to get used to it given they outnumber me by about 55 to 1.  

So, here's to getting my head down, my bum up, putting my shoulder to the wheel and all those other cliches about working hard.  

As I do stuff I'm sure I'll post what I can along the way.  It'll be nice to have a little personal record of how things progress over the next 3 years or so.
