No story for the characters here but there is one behind the image none the less (isn't there always?)
This image is the result of the compilation of 8 seperate layers in PS. Normally I'll use 2 or 3 but this time I decided to revisit a technique I had tried once before - render out each light as a seperate layer and then combine the lot. This makes up 5 of the layers. The other 3 are the background compilation.
It did require a bit more render time to do each layer and them composite them but I think the result speaks for itself in this case.

One question that keeps popping into my head with this scene - did anyone bring a can opener?
